about

This album was originally scrapped and remained unpublished until now. It has been mastered from the only known cassette copy of the album (labelled "Do Not Duplicate! Do Not Play!") and features 7 previously unreleased songs alongside 8 tracks which subsequently appeared in slightly altered form on various limited edition releases over the years:

"Peter & Heidi's Prawn Cocktail Mountains" appeared on a very limited (100 copies) split 12" EP with Bo Knows, on Stipple Records, Stipple 001, 2010.

"Asian Rush", "Ad's Nu Gyr" and "(The Idiot 2 :) American Beauty" made up one side of The Rebel's "Tarscoffsky`s The Snackrifice" E.P., released by Emperor Jones, EJ78, 2007

"Corporal Rabbitfood 2", "4 Track Murderer", "Kissing & Touching the Void Hem of the Cloth" and "Best Painkiller What There Is" were 'saved' by inclusion on The Rebel's follow-up album "Brown Girl In The Ring" (2006) which was a self-published handmade CDR release amounting to around 10 copies issued.

about

The Rebel London, UK

"The Rebel" was born Benedict Roger Wallers in 1971.

Since 1989 BR Wallers has recorded & hand-distributed a bewildering array of impossibly hard-to-find home-made cassette-albums, under a variety of guises.

The songs on these tapes often provided the basis of the Country Teasers band's live shows and official releases.
